we need the timeline! or beta firmware!

Hi all,

We are really sorry for any inconvenience caused and we are sad to say that there is no timeframe for your player firmware. We can release a beta version but then there is no much changes in it, please be assured that there is an on-going development for your model and the rest.

Well, if there is no time frame, at least let us know what are the issues that your team is looking at?
As for the beta available, not much changes means there are some changes, are you able to advise us what are the improvements? I believe all of us here would like to know more about it even thou it's a very minor bug fix

After a while only active as guest, I'm no longer stand not to register to make me eligible in post this comment.

What ACRYAN moderators did by deleting posts which were quite vocal criticizing the way ACRYAN itself treating Essential user, and even banned those who were posted such critique, is only make it bolder and clearer that ACRYAN is such an arrogant and not customer oriented company.

Somehow I agree with the content and meaning of posts which were deleted by moderators. Yes, maybe sometimes the post was quite harsh, however as essential user also, I understand why they were very very mad at ACRYAN.

We, essential user, despite have been waiting for 8 months in despair, dealing with the buggy unit, all we got from ACRYAN customer service only a lip service saying that "We're working on it", "It's quite difficult due to different SDK and so on and so on", "bla bla bla".

However every time one of us ask you WHEN will the update release, all of ACRYAN representatives (here at forum or on email reply) keep saying "Sorry, there is no timeline"

And every time one of us ask you WHAT is the bug/problem out of hundreds of bugs/problems has already been solved and begging you for Beta release, all of ACRYAN representatives keep saying nothing.

Most of normal customers would be very very disappointed with the way you treat them like this. And it's normal that many of essential user get mad and angry and express their anger in the forum.

I'm disappointed, not yet very upset, but definitely I lose my trust in ACRYAN.

I don't recall why you where or was banned but probaly you violate the rulez.

If your angry happy exploding or think the player sucks.

That's your opinion and you may and can discuss that here.

But in normal words

No bad words
No flame wars
No insulting etc etc etc.

And of course stay on topic

These are the basic rules on any forum on the internet.

So keep it normal please thats all we ask

When will a new firmware release is all we ask
Still no one actually answer that

And really I don't see how my last post insulting anyone
I just admit that I have made a mistake buying this product that's all

I like acryan products so much...
please give us the essential user a timeline for the new firmware release...
if you can't give a timeline, it means you're not working on it...
please don't make us disappointed to choose this products....

Please at least fix (or provide hack) for:
1. SAMBA on startup (what the point to have Wi-Fi and to manually turn on network share)
2. Image Thumbnails very nasty bug (forcing me to delete my movie thumbs )

The reason I chose A.C.Ryan Playon is because of your firmware and after-sale support

Beyond a joke now, i look at other products and see a stream of firmware updates. Do you think the customer actually cares if its not as easy to write updates for this particular machine? That's right they don't. The customer expects bugs and issues to be addressed and fixed, the lack of a new firmware update is now descending into farce

hundred of my customer is also waiting....
please fix any bugs on essential...
al least, make any changes on it.....
