I had the PlayOnHD befor and this box came with massiv issues by mkv, BD and HD Streams but with mini2 comes with a massiv increase of speed! (v9.5.5.r2073 firmware)

HELLOOOO..... Any developers in da house!?
Had enough now, I'm dumping this piece of garbage.
Ordering Extremer Sidewinder 2 and hope that one day I'll find a decent mediaplayer.
Happy streamin.... Ooops! Sorry, forgot that the GUI only works as supposed when you have a hardrive attached.

I just purchased the hd mini2 all was fine. I installed the last firmware in order to be up to date. And now the box freeze : even if I use the remote I got no answers from the hd mini2, and I got nothing on the screen or same times a green splash screen. I though it was the hdmi cable so I changed it, no more results, I still have this problem.
What can I do? downgrade the firmware? send back the hd mini2 in order to get a new one?

thanks upgrade it again. If that doesnt work. Downgrade. and Try upgrading again.

Hold the Front button Plugin the power while still holding the front button. Keep holding the front button till the screen appears, its updating (can take a while sometimes) Succes...

Sorry for the absence last week/s on the forum from staff. We have had several shows in Europe and Asia that required many from our staff to attend, so we had to prioritize email and phone support more.
We will have an update coming shortly for internal testing for Playon!HD / Mini / Playon!HD 2 and Mini2 and most likely Playon!DVR-HD as well, and then we will test, and and tune this firmware for release.
Just so you know that we are working on things!

So just some ideas you could think about:
- No one needs shiny graphical menues with tons of sub menues slowing down the goal one wants. Which is ofc watching a movie with as few button clicks as possible.
Personally i would love a direct bootup into the databrowser with a selection of attached drives popping up.
- The Yamj and movie managing stuff is a JOKE and very uncomfortable. Just leave that out and do some decent thumbgen support included in the databrowser.
- Focus on core playback options and make those rock solid before adding any bonbon features!
