I think this has gotten to a point where i don't get any of it.

When using another media player, and using another movie sheet maker.

It works like this:

When looking at all the movies in list/thumbnail view, i see all the movies, shown by a picture ( Folder.jpg). And when entering a folder, i see movie information ( aka moviesheet.jpg/0001.jpg) i get this automatic, without having to press slow or anything.

Now is this/has this EVER been possible with the Mini2??

I prefer the way it is implemented here. With automatic movie-sheet displaying it is always mixed with the list of the files in the folder. With the button I can decide whether I need the infos or simply see the files in the folder. IMHO much better!

Hello,
I have just a new customer of HD mini2.

I was suprised after first play of HD video. Beatiful!

Can I have a few questions?
1. I can not see sharpness in video options. Is it possible to do it?
2. I set on PlayonHD video output HDMI Auto. When I play video with 25fps, player not recognize this fps and shows 60Hz instead of 50Hz. I thought that when I set up HDMI Auto, player switch to right frequency.
3. Browsing menu is seems to be not faster. Do you planned any change to better?

Thank you

Please take a look in the release notes. It's discribed in it. I think to remember it's one entry in the options menu.
But I don't know it by heart.

Hi ACR.

Great to see that you are continually working to improve your product through frequent firmware releases.
Also great to see that you are actively participating in the forum and actually paying attention to the feedback your users are giving.

I have not been able to find it so I am asking if it exists: a bugtracker and/or roadmap. I would love to se what issues you as a company have identified and accepted (opposed to what some users think are bugs) and also which ones you are working on for the next release.

Personally I stream all my files from my NAS box (NFS) and would love to see the video/music/jukebox functions work.

In the 'Internet Media' section would it be possible to ad Gpodder (gpodder.net)??
Also the ability to add internet radio stations (i.e. jungletrain.net and di.fm or what ever you fancy) ??

Keep up the good work.

Hi ACR,

I bought the media player today at comex 2011 today. I checked the firmware version and confirmed it is v9.5.5.r5440.

I can't play YouTube videos, it gives me an "unable to play media file" error.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

Thanks

Yes return it while you can :D

After following the forums for more than 6months I decided to reg and start bitching to see if it would have any impact. If not at least I'll get some weight off my shoulders.

So in search of the best compact media station the mini2 seemed like it had it all. And it did, just that it was as stable as windows 95.
So what's still wrong you ask. Well my major concerns of a WORKING mediastation are:
* Shortcuts reboot the mini every time
* WORKGROUPS shows up 1 of 200 bootups in the Network list
* When subs get disabled for one movie they stop working for EVERY movie until the setting under SETUP is enabled again
* Connecting to my share takes around 30-60secs when opening it under "My shortcuts", but 1sec under Workgroups (when it appears). A spinner just shows up and all I can do is wait and wait and wait.

So thinking I would get the fastest streamer out there I now have one that takes "ages" to just show my files. 1min might sound like nothing, but when you sit there ready to watch something you don't want to count to 60 each time before you start streaming. It would be another thing if it did it automatically, but clicking manually through 3 menus AND the extra waiting to get to the folder is just a big WTH.

Now I can't sell it to buy something else since I could never live with myself knowing I would be selling something as broken as this. Unlike some other people ;)

Ahhh I sure feel better, how about you? :)

Can't image a different behavior connecting to my NAS (Windows Home Server 2003).

Haven't had any cases at all with reboots!
Have two links to folders on my NAS and they work as they are supposed to.

I think a bad firmware upgrade or fault unit must be the cause if you have recurring problems.
