Re: [BETA] ACR-PV73100 v7.4.x.r4585 Playon!HD I can't stress it enough, the system should pick up the subtitle of the same name as the video file, as it used to do until the latest FW. I mean how hard is it to rename your srt file? Please revert. Do you realize how much pain in the ass it is to choose subs from a list every time you go on to the next episode in a TV series? And it won't even show more than 15 subs. Watching over wifi is unbearable now, too -- horrible audio lags, jerky picture. I'm going back to 7.3*

I ver much enjoy the latest release, but the networking issue prevents me from using it.
The player disconnects from the network very often so I need to do a restart to get it back.
I wen't back to the official release which does not have this issue.

PoHD will not be a pain anymore.

Re: [BETA] ACR-PV73100 v7.4.x.r4585 Playon!HD He can answer of course but I suspect its because the Mede8er hacked FW is only GDK3 at the moment. Whereas a new box will have the latest Mede8er GDK 4 level FW.
Its a tough call and I think it reflects some peoples frustration at ACRyan. I'm holding fire on the same decision and will wait and see what comes out next. But despite people like Arne trying hard I wonder how many people here are confident of a decent GUI any time soon ? I hope they do but the track record so far is not good I'm afraid. But I will wait and see

Hello, FYI You are comparing the Playon!HD (1073) to the Med500X2 (1185). Naturally since it's a newer chipset it should have better hardware. This is a firmware thread for the 1073 -> Playon!HD. We also have released a player with this chipset -> 1185 called Playon!HD 2. Any more posts regarding other products than the 1073 / Playon!HD will be removed.
