 Re: [BETA] ACR-PV73200 v7.4.x.r4585 Playon!HD Mini
Hello,
Just FYI.
We don't officially support over 2TB internal or external hard drives.

I was wondering if the .avi file bug with NFS was already addressed?
I seem to have problems to play .avi files from my NAS through NFS..

No, .avi through NFS bug is still there. Is the access time to your Synology with SMB also slow, takes a minute here when I enter the Synology with a SMB shortcut?
Thanks for this update, speed of the GUI has been improved for me! Now I only wonder how to put things in the Video Library from the network, if it's possible at all.

 Re: [BETA] ACR-PV73200 v7.4.x.r4585 Playon!HD Mini
hi guys, need help here.
the new firmware/design still doesn't read my hard drive together with the current official one. The old design which i have been using works fine.
It doesn't detect my hard drive even though i did a safe flash with it, however it reads my 2gb thumb drive. Pls advise anyone!??

What type of hard drive (size?) do you use? It takes some time before my USB connected hard drive is recognized.

Hmm no I use a WD 3TB NTFS disk and it is recognized after +/- 30 seconds. Perhaps something with the folder structure, or some files in the root that should not be there? Like install.img (however this has never been a problem for me). Is it connected directly to a USB port on the device, and did you try both? Another USB cable? Are you able to connect the drive to a PC without problems?

everything was all normal, formatted to ntfs, plugged it normally, reads okay in mac and windows. Just doesn't work with the new firmware, I've reverted back to the old gui, until a fix is found...

 Re: [BETA] ACR-PV73200 v7.4.x.r4585 Playon!HD Mini
I know this is hopeless, but is there any interest left for jukebox in future development ? There's a "little" problem in this firmware with accented letters in jukebox : the detailed movies don't display cover and can't launch the file.
I made some scripts to remove accents (there's a lot in french !), however I don't think it's up to me to fix basic things that "pro" coders should do. Moreover, it's not acryan problem either but last version of yamj reboot the player (?!). I won't insist on slowness, tiny fonts, lack of categories ...
I understand the limitations of blha blha blha but seriously, are the coders complete amateurs, not enough paid or another mysterious reason ? Will there be an almost stable firmware(beta or not) with basic features announced before 2020 and Playon!HD 10 (if you're still there ha ha) ?
PS Problem reported by mail is funny, a bugtracker wouldn't be bad even if you'll have some stupid requests you could set priority for issues (shortcuts asked for 1 year maybe medium priority now?). End of complaints. Thanks for trying.
