Have tested this release a bit now and so far so good, the most stable up until now, really great work.

One request though, could you either move the "shortcuts" menu to the top, or assign it to one of the color buttons on the remote? Red has been used for shortcut deletion, so is it possible to use either yellow, blue or green for it? (just like you have a dedicate "File" button for the "File Manager" menu on the remote)

The slo-mo button no longer brings up the moviesheet - has it been re-assigned or is this a bug in the new firmware ?
As mentioned earlier, putting the shortcut menu to the top would be better

IMHO the colour buttons should be usermore often.

Example

In main manue:

• Red -> Favorites
• Grenn -> Movies
• Yellow -> Fotos
• Green -> Music

In media view:

• Red -> All media files
• Grenn -> Movies only
• Yellow -> Fotos only
• Green -> Music only

Hi to all

New to the forums but thought I had to join and comment on how this firmware is a great update to the mini2. The shortcut option make's such huge difference to the experience of using the device. I haven't played with much else yet.

Well... Here we go.

- No sound when playing DVD-images. Tried every audio-setting available. Suggestions?

- Subtitles don't work when multiple .srt-files in the folder. When you press "Subtitle" it only shows the 15 first so if you have more you are not able to pick the correct one. One expect the player to pick up a subtitle-file with the same name as the chosen .mkv-file but it doesn't eventhough A.C. Ryan states it's fixed.

- Shortcuts is better than nothing but adding shares and freely naming them is what you should work towards.

Have WD TV Live, Popcorn Hour and XBMC so there is nothing wrong with the files I've used, that's checked.

It's still a loooooong way to go.... *SIGH*

as lot of other people asked, I'd like very much to have a quick key to reach that section. and/or allow us to edit the sections position (and hide the one we don't need, as 99% of NAS users will never use movie/audio/pic ones).

@karoshi I've no problems playing my DVD images, maybe yours have something non-standard?

They are as standard as a ripped file can be

... and as I mentioned they play well on my other mediaplayers.

But I'll reflash and see if it automagically fixes it self.

Same here and it looks like crashes and reboots are more than normal and even freezing up when playing wich i didn't had before.

I guessed, but didn't find a valid reason. to say the truth sometimes (very rarely) it happened with previous versions that I had no audio on some of my DVD images but generally stopping and restarting them solved the issue.
