I did the latest hardware update but that didnt work so i downgraded it again but now it doesnt recognize the harddisk anymore only if i connect it to a computer than i can get to the files but the ac ryan doesnt show them anymore how can i solve this problem?

I already tried that i tried every firmware thats availeble but that wont work it still doenst recognize the harddisk and when you go to system info it says 0terrabites but it see's that there is a samsung harddisk in there

downgraded to r1402,
formated the HDD (this is asked after downgrading, because it was formated in the pc as one partion.
so cleared all four partitions made only one then formated it).

still nothing in sysinfo 1TB disk is seen but 0 freespace and no partition found in browser under HDD.

but extensions where running again as these where not in r2160 after formating the drive there in previous attemds.

then I did a manually upgrade to r2160 as described in this topic by Chris and by Eugene earlier.

this did the job.
checked the extensions and I had to run them, this worked also.
(I was unable to upgrade the extensions as described earlier?)
in browser checked the HDD and now there was a map called "BT".
so everything okay again.
as I`m writhing this I`m copying back my files to the disk using the USB connection with my PC.

So as far as concluded after this firmware it`s not possible to downgrade because the internal harddrive then is not accesible by the playon anymore.

If I did anything wrong please give me feedback because I would not know what.


But for starters upgrading to this knew firmware r2160 was not a problem at all,
I just downgraded it because I wanted to check if there was less quality in dvd movies.
that I checked and there`s no loss in quality, better it`s an improvement.

advice is to manually upgrade, why simply because Eugene recommends it.
But for me and also others the normal way was no problem as well.


then one last point also I was not possible to acces internet radio anymore with this firmware.
