Re: HELP! File transfer speed slooooooow
I was on the r4107 before this and it was working fine and many (beta) firmwares before it. So I hope that helps, otherwise let me know if you still want me to roll back to 4318.
I did install it like this:
Safe flash to 4318 Then to 3582 normal flash Then Safe flash to r3966
Because a normal update didn't work. But I didn't test the connection 4318.
Love to hear from you.

I also have the same problem with coping movies over a wired network its very slow and takes 3 hours to copy 4.5 gig.
I don't know how to downgrade the firmware can anyone tell me how I must do this ? after that I can post here if that worked or not..

Re: HELP! File transfer speed slooooooow
Just reinstall the older firmware in the advised way (safe or via the menu).

Re: HELP! File transfer speed slooooooow
Seems worrying that such a fundamental issue could be caused by the firmware?
It's a network media player for gods sake, emphasis on network! Is the general consensus that I'd get higher transfer speeds with the old firmware?
Also, quite often while copying files across or updating YAMJ it drops the connection to my playonHD which then requires a network reset? Anyone else experience this issue?
