Let me explain again. File Manager - UPnP - My iMAC - Folder - TV - File...... Confirm does NOT work. Menu opens up options for Thumbnail, Preview, etc. Now can you tell me what option you are talking about???

What's going with the Samba/ Wifi connecting? Multiple complaints on this thread and also see this: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=15039Could the Acryan team at least react to the problem or even better solve it. What is going on? This is a core functionality of the device and this is a official firmware, not some beta. At least freaking reply to the complaints.

Most of the time it's the menu button and or the confirm button TO DELETE A FILEThis works for an ACR Internal HDD and NAS (SAMBA) LAN Network Drives whose Sharing Permissions have been set to allow access to PLAYONHD or NETWORK or EVERYONE. 1) Select File Manager 2) Navigate to the File you want to Delete 3) At the bottom of the screen you will see: "MENU & CONFIRM FOR MORE OPTIONS" This is badly worded, it sounds like you need to press them together! 4) Press MENU and you will get Menu DISPLAY Options: > Thumbnails > List > Preview > All Media > Movies > Music Mostly these toggle ON - OFF when you select, I use List = ON, Preview = ON, All Media = ON You then press MENU again to get back to File Manager 5) Press CONFIRM and you will see another Menu called: FILE EDITING with options: > Copy > Delete > Move > Rename > DVD Copy (greyed) > Edit Playlist (greyed) > Edit Photo Album (greyed) > Lock (greyed) > Send to Buddy > Multiple Select Scroll Down until DELETE highlights, press enter, confirm, and file will be deleted. To get back Pressing CONFIRM again does nothing, neither does pressing MENU you have to press RETURN, sloppy I know but what to do, that's the way it works. If pressing MENU again takes you back on that sub menu, you would logically think pressing CONFIRM again would take you back on the that sub menu, well I would. Took quite a while to work this all out so if it helps you do click the GREEN Thumbs up button, I'd love to get a few reputation points!

If you connect thru a normal network connection to a shared folder on your mac with read/write rights of course the confirm button will work.

Of many problems this is not one I'm having, I would try re-flashing Firmware, I know it seems daft but I've found re-flashing twice even when the first flash appears succesful always seems to help. Secondly I'd suggest you use what is officially labeled BETA - PV73100_v7.4.3.r4585 it list quite a few 'improvements', I know the [Official] Firmware_PV73100_v7.4.x.r3966 but frankly its still more like a BETA in performance, so may as well go with the latest BETA you can always flash back.

br,
I tried to safe-mode flash r3582 , then safe-mode install r3966 without success. Next try will with another USB key, classically formated. The progress bar freeze quickly, she's completely filled with a first and a second time, but at the third time she freeze. I did not pay attention at which it stops. I will do it later. BR Denis My player is now well updated, I use another USB key and it works well. The player work a little bit slowly but without bug. Thank you Arne.
