Just upgarded the FW from 7.3.3.r4824 to 7.4.3.r3699. Everything seems fine, except 1 thing, the HDD can't be detected.

Upon starting the POHD, the GUI prompt to format the HDD, which I ignore and also disable the prompt in the MISC menu.

I tried to browse for the HDD in the file manager and it was also not listed. I when further to upgrade it to a beta firmware r4585 and the problem still persist.

However, after I downgrade the FW back to r4824, the issue goes away and I'm able to get back my HDD.

May I know anyone have this problem, and how was it resolved.

I have a problem after the update to r9366. After starting up, the homescreen apears and it immediately dissapears again while it tries another tv-system setting. This is a repeating process, it is not possible to do anything.

Please help?

In the new firmware the deleting a file sequence has been changed???

Is there a way to play a music album completely but only once. Default only one song is played of an album. Continuous play, plays all of them, but repeatedly. This is the same for selecting the album by the browser or by the music option.

I hope somebody knows the solution for this.

Select the relevant folder or file with the File Manager and then press the Confirm button of the remote for file operations.

When I have the folder with the file selected and press Confirm, i get a cross in the top left hand corner of the screen. On the old firmware i used, pressing Menu took you into the delete option.

If you use the filemanager and browse the hdd you see below in the screen some icons wich displays the buttons you can use on the remote do display more options

Most of the time it's the menu button and or the confirm button

I am streaming from iMAC HD to PlayOn. When I have watched the file I want to delete from the iMAC HD via the PlayOn. Until now that was possible by using the Menu button. Now the Menu button has another function. Confirm does NOT work. Please tell me how it is now possible to delete??

I had high hopes for this new firmware, but after using it some time I can only conclude that it made matters worse.

Connecting to my network via wifi is a disaster, sometimes it connects but most of the time it just does not. After numerous times re-entering the password and trying to connect through the push button on my router, I give up.

I have never ever used a device that has caused me so much frustration and used up so much free time for such a long period of time. I kept on believing (hoping?) that there would be improvements in the firmware and that it would just for once work for a few weeks without me getting frustated and having to reboot numerous times.

So, just before I'm going insane, I decided give up on 'the thing' (as my girlfriend calls it) and as soon as possible I will buy something similar from the competition.
Needless to say that I will never advise someone else to buy anything made by AC Ryan and I'm sorry I actually paid money for this 'product'.
