This version does not play the subtitle corresponding to the filename, instead it plays the first subtitle in the list. Version 3966 played the correct subs.

Can i remove the current profile or do i realy need to apply a new firmware to configure this? Safe reflash the firmware and reconfigure thats the fastest way if the unit refuses to let you reconfigure the network settings.

After installing this new release my wired network transfer is slow as a snail, in fact copying a 8Gb movie to the ACRYAN now takes 19 hours! I've seen a few complaints but no solution. Seems to be a problem with this release as I had no problems prior to this.

Problem with sets when running YAMJ
Hi, I experience this bug:
1. Player model: ACR-PV73100 2. Firmware version: r4585 3. Reproducibility: always 4. Setup: Wired 5. Operating System (optional): Windows 7 6. Description of problem: Since I upgraded to this beta my sets can't be played through YAMJ (latest release r.2612 but was the same with previous stable r.2566) Pages containing the sets display correctly but when I press OK to play I receive the message "No video files". No problem when I access them using File Manager (but it sucks to use it just for sets).
May I receive confirmation from others that have experienced the same? TIA
PS: I want to add that I deeply regret that category New does display as it used to be the case with previous fw. That's a real downgrade.

I was just about to download the new beta but this is a no-go. All my new yet-to-watch movies are grouped in a single folder and if I understand this comment correctly it means every time I play something I'd have to browse through umpteen subtitles to select the proper one... That's preposterous! Same thing for tvseries which I (and I imagine most people) have grouped by season in a single folder. Does this mean watching a couple of episodes after another I'd have to go searching for subtitles each time? How ridiculous, it really sounds monumentously stupid. Can someone please clarify?

I know that I used to check the discussion frequently in hopes that things would improve significantly. Now I only check back once in a while, but the situation always seems to be the same. Too bad.

Hello, There are probably more factors to this. I personally think the firmware is getting better for every update, there might be those who disagree. This is normal when it comes to online support/forums, happy costumers make less noise than unhappy costumers. It's also summer time, this is a kind of low season for movie watching in general. In either case, back to work! Br,

In either case, back to work! Br, I'm sorry to disagree Mikael, but if ACR thinks they're giving us a good FW with this one, you're wrong. And at the same time it shows exactly why we (customers) can wait forever on a decent release: ACR has lower expectations, they think it's just fine... But when you read through the comments that are given, you see that some basic stuff just isn't right yet. The FW still isn't user friendly, the network speeds still aren't good (let alone stable..), the long promissed movie jukebox still is a hassle.. and so on, and so on... Really, I've given up hope and work with an old FW which I know is as stable as it gets. But I really think there's a lot of people like me, who've just given up. If you would put a poll on the frontpage or where ever (not in this really badly "improved" forum) and ask people if they would buy an ACR product in the future or even if they're happy with their unit, you'd be amazed...
