What a about the problem with samba (network drops, nearly impossible to update indexfile in jukebox) are we near for a solution yet? I have the same issue, seems to be there for quite a few firmware releases. My workaround is to use the FTP feature instead. Using filezilla client to perform single upload/download for over 300GB of data, its performing surprisingly well, without a single drop of connection.

When copying files over WiFi from PC to player speed up not more than 1.5 MB / sec. It's slow. On the previous firmware, this speed was 4.5MB / s.

Re: [BETA] ACR-PV73100 v7.4.x.r4585 Playon!HD The latest firmware probably works great on the newest TV's. However I've got an old Sony (70 cm) CRT monitor where I can hardly read the text. (Has nothing to do with the quality of the TV b.t.w.) Yes I know I'm probably the only one so no worries about that.  However since the last official firmware update I haven't been able to copy files from my computer to the network share on the PlayonHD. Network connectivity keeps disconnecting.  Never had that problem before.

I have an optical cable for audio to my HT end an hdmi cable to my tv and I want not hearing audio from tv. My TV is not able to route audio from hdmi to spdif. Please make possible to select the audio ouput

Which works great. I so want my PlayOn!HD to run properly with the company's own FW but I feel they under invest in this area and it seems like its one bloke in a shed having a play with the source code on a Smartphone. Sorry guys but it does. Please, please...get a move on ACRyan. Have a look at what Mede8er have done and just "copy" that. Its slick, its stable enough for most whilst having a few bugs like all software but most of all its USER FRIENDLY and WORKS with as few button pushes as is possible and is very, very fast. Rant over.... and still waiting

Re: [BETA] ACR-PV73100 v7.4.x.r4585 Playon!HD I loaded this firmware on to my POHD last night. My critical test is how stable SAMBA is. Playing a 720p title on another media player over a wired network from the updated POHD failed after a few minutes. Restarting the POHD was required to restore network access to the POHD even though the POHD seemed to be working normally from its own GUI. This was repeated once more and the playback failed identically but at a different position in the playback. The release notes did not claim any improvement to the official release but it seems some posters have seen an improvement with this beta. With extremely limited testing I have not noticed any change in SAMBA. However I do welcome this release as a very positive move by AC Ryan. Thanks.
