 Re: [Official] Firmware_PV73800_v9.5.5.r3966
I still have v9.5.5 r1867. I get none of the problems reported above, no reboots, no black bands, never had an error message of any kind. Tell me why I should update the firmware to r3966? Maybe it's because so far I only run downloaded movies (including DivX files). The miniHD will even play files from my JVC Everio movie camera which records to SD cards. I just change the file extension from .MOD to .MPG and they play perfectly.

Hi I installed and it works fine., thanks for removing pc hidden shares. Again it takes to many clicks to get to my network and select my shortcuts. Maybe having "my shortcuts" on the front page would be a very good idea.
Kind regards Edwin

 Subtitle issue
Hi!
After updating to this firmware I'm experiencing that the subtitle doesn't show when selected, anyone else experiencing this? On original firmware I never seemed to have any problem with this. When playing the same mkv file on my computer the subtitle shows just fine. Why is the subtitle language selectable when it doesn't show, any work around?

They were there on a previous firmware release, but since I upgraded to get it to recognise the index.html file they are no longer there, you guys need to bring Parental Controls back

Will be fixed in the next firmware release. dutchblutch wrote: I installed the firmware in the safe mode already. That's why I was surprised it connected to my samba server without asking for a username and password. Is there another way to remove this account so I can enter a new username and password? Best regards. Must be a setting on your server side than. In Win7 check if you have password protected sharing off for example. There is a couple of how-to's here as well in our hd1 forum on how to setup the proper sharing settings etc. for different windows versions. If you use linux check your permissions in samba config. best regards,

Thanks for the reply, good to see you guys haven't forgotten about it
It would also be a very nice feature request that if you load up a Movie Jukebox, there should be an option to Load the jukebox on restart, I have to go through Network --> Workgroup --> Storagebox --> Movies etc every time, and for the kids that's a bit cumbersome
Any chance of being able to have a Movie Jukebox load on startup option?

Hi I just updated my new hd mini 2 with the 3966 firmware update via the usb option in the menu and now I don't have any sound anymore. I shut it down and restarted it but it doesn't give me any sound anymore.
Please let me know if this is a known issue or if this is something that can be fixed easily

How are you connected? HDMI / SPDIF / Comp? Direct to TV / Receiver etc.. Do you have sound nowhere? Movies / Music / Internet Features? Make sure that you have the right audio setting chosen in SETUP -> AUDIO -> HDMI / SPDIF: LPCM for direct connection to TV or playing Stereo and Passthrough for Surround Sound when connected to a Receiver for example. cheers,

 Re: [Official] Firmware_PV73800_v9.5.5.r3966
Hi Arne,
1. AC ryan hd2 mini ACR-PV73800 2 connect via HDMI directly to my tv (audio via tv as well) 3 Audio set to standard which is LPCM this did work before the update to the latest firmware. 4 note i updated it from the box and firmware which was on it was the one from february. 5 got the wireless dongle from ac ryan attached. 6 no audio on anything so not on movies internet tv series most are .mkv files 720p 7 tv set is a full hd sony from 2 years ago.
So any help to get this solved is appreciated otherwise I'm forced to look for something else since I really need one which works without any issues since i watch almost only tv via my mediaplayer.
