Does anyone here is having the same problem as mine?

I have to press a few times on the remote before the player receive the command. Besides that, I have to point the remote perpendicular to the player (with close distance like 1.5-2m) most of the time so that the player receive the signal from the remote.

I wonder if this is a hardware problem or firmware issue.
