Wich type and brand external hdd ?

Buffalo miniStation (Hitachi)..no problem using it with my PV73100 only with this..could be hardware issue?

I'm getting the feeling that AC Ryan let's us down on this!!

currently the Essential Firmware will stay as it is. Of course we still work on this but the priority first was to release a working GUI2.0 firmware for all other platforms.
As soon as we have some news regarding the Essential firmware we will let you know and post it in the Essential forum section.

Please just give us a fix for the thumnail-view as soon as possible.

I think it is not acceptable to keep us waiting so long. I own this player for three months now and for example because of the thumbnail issue and the rebooting issue I'm not able to use the player with pictures/photos in a normal way, which was one of the reasons I bought this player.
At least you should be able to fix some really annoying bugs and give us a beta update, it can not be that time consuming.

I agree with robbedoes... It's totally unacceptable to keep your customers waiting for such a long time...
The most anoying bugs like the thumbnail bug should be fixed a.s.a.p... We are already waiting long enough for this!

When will be there next firmware release for essential model? Understand the your team is focusing on other product range, but at least we need a solid plan, to show that your team is really working on essential model

This delay is unacceptable. I have mentioned the system reboot problem with zoom button months back. still no solution
