Made on request from makamminga, so he doesn't have to bother with PHP anymore

RTL Gemist v1.0 is an improved version of original PHP script made by Tweakradje and Cap. Comparing to original version it has:

• new functionalities (remote control buttons, filtering of special characters)
• completely new look (check the Screenshots below)
• no need to use PHP web server

Extract RTL directory into /tmp/hdd/volumes/HDD1/scripts/ and add something like that into menu.rss:



Officially supported on yaffs-based firmwares like r4318 or PlayOn!X r4824.

You can run it on GUI 2.0 as well (PlayOn!HD and PlayOn!HD Mini r2115, PlayOn!HD2, Playon!HD Mini2), if you use decrypted menu.rss and mounting. I can't write direct instructions, because currently I'm on r4824.

To switch between days you can use remote control numbers 1-7 as well.

Do you know if there is a improved version for the other Dutch "missed programms" channels as well ?
Would be nice because not all of them do work at the moment.

You are right, not all days work properly.
wednesday, thursday and friday do not work.
Would be nice if you could fix it.

Edit: RTL removed media files from December, January, February and March, so they are not working anymore. If they change/remove anything again, don't blame me. April is working completely and like I've promised May is updated until today (6 May, 10 AM).

Mikka : thanks for the update, i just replaced the RTL directory it looks good.
I will try to fix the "not working links" using the procedure as explained.

Yesterday RTL gemist stopped working. The same happened with Xlive.
Does annyboddy know what is wrong or how to fix it ?
I did not do any changes so the reason it stopped must be something different.
Are there more people where it RTL gemist and Xlive are not working annymore ?

They removed completely all Ipad content or just shutdown http://iptv.rtl.nl server, because even 'backdoor' I was using doesn't work anymore.

I've a Phillips TV with built in support for RTL Gemist, but I can say you that the last weeks, the content there is also not always complete (or working), so it might be temporary.

Can you access right now RTL Gemist directly from your TV? The iPad domain is still offline, doesn't look like coming back.
