Oh well, I needed to install your firmware and w_get in order to install metafeeds... let's chalk the rest up to a learning experience.

In case anyone else is trying to get the POHD to connect to icecast server through metafeeds, create a favourite on metafeeds.com, Link as Enclosure, mime-type = audio/mp3 and the URL must point to the mp3 stream, not the m3u playlist.

These two: not. I've compiled today new release, I'm going to test it soon. This new release is using so-called packs: Optware and RSS. Both are quite big (RSS: 27 MB, Optware: at least 40 MB), so they need to be installed on hard disk.

RSS pack contains following items: Metafeeds, Metafeeds Favorite, Xlive, News, Weather (remake), Picasa, Flickr, RssEx, Youtube, Movie Jukebox (everything is available on one screen). Youtube is working via Metafeeds package. Weather is updated after Yahoo has limited usage of 5-days forecast in October. RssEx tested partly and Movie Jukebox is the default one from OoD (I don't have any Jukebox to test).

Optware pack contents are not yet known, as I'm still working on it. I'm pretty sure it will include links2, Midnight Commander, nano, transmission, vsftpd, w_get and unrar (as they are already within the package, tested and working).

On the other site, I've integrated special version of InfoSite 0.7, but few more things still have to be done.

I've installed your first release, because i did not read the post all to well. I too got the pod installer error for the driver. I'm looking out for your newest release. I still was using the tittoo r2901 release, because i saw too many disadvantages with new releases.

So for those who are still on that one too, upgrade to to r3582 before updating to r4824 (mikka's).

What's the status for the mini?

Sorry, I know nothing about it. These firmwares are using old install_a, so maybe you can try one of them?

It's still the same. First I want to make a complete version for standard POHD, then I'll begin with conversion to Mini. I'm not like some women, who can solve scrabbles, watch TV and iron clothes at the same time (have one model in house).

Right now there are four major A.C. Ryan media players (!HD, !HD Mini, !DVR, Essential) and I own only one, but hopefully we can do it together. The biggest problem is lack of internal HDD, do you think there are many Mini users interested in creating extra Linux partition (as this is the currently the best solution) for RSS and Optware packs?
