As most of the users download movies, or extract the movies, we would like to have our files tagged to IMDB formats, and have a Movie Database on a Desktop. It can also create a YAMJ format directly from the software.

E.g. I got lots of movies files in many formats, many languages from English, Simplified Chinese etc.. only with a file name. Organizing them is a real pain, tried to use some Movie Database software to manage them, but from there, stuck into importing them into YAMJ. Not to mention need to use YAMJ to create an Index.html file.

There is no end to end solution, and frankly the YAMJ takes a geek to figure the work hence explaining the many issues that Ac Ryan supporters like us face. I alone have 4 Ac Ryan at home.

I do not mind paying for the software, whereby when I download a movie, I just use the software to pick up the file, compare that to IMDB and most importantly different Chinese movie databases etc.. I press one button, it generate an Index.html file which I just copy directly onto my Ac Ryan box. The software should be able to simulate what the Index.html file will look like on the TV when the file is copied.

Can AcRyan look into something like that? One Stop Solution for Movies at least for a start, and move to Music Files etc.. The ecosystems is not complete for the users, despite Ac Ryan are some of the best media boxes in town but not innovative yet.

You might want to address this to AC Ryan direct - try a PM to one of the staff menbers on the forums for a start. YAMJ is free to use and not an AC Ryan piece of software, and it's output, in html / xml formats is readable by different devices - it does run on other manufacturer's products as well as AC Ryan players, and will also run from the desktop.
It would be nice to hear from AC Ryan on their thoughts on a future roadmap for their firmare and jukeboxes in particular, so if you get an answer, please share it

Agree with you. I know that YAMJ is a freeware. The issue that I am addressing is not YAMJ really here but the pre-cursor to the YAMJ for AcRyan like a movie database tied to AcRyan from cataloguing, all the way from a movie file to the TV screen, all managed by AcRyan.

Will share with forum once I get the answer.
