I installed the official firmware and YAJM and everything is working fine. I can choose now the alphabet and the genre and so on.
No questions about "Format HD before you can use...". The option prompt for...is on.
So or someone comes up with a simple howto otherwise i stay with the original
I copied all my movies back to the internal POHD2 disk.
