Post YAMJ AC Ryan one in all solution for Mac OSX
New version : Multilanguage movieplugin support !!!

For all the Mac OSX users I created an one in all solution to generate
the YAMJ files directly from OSX on your POHD.
I have tested it on OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.2 (Intel based).

Based on Moviejukebox 1.8 r1402
See : http://code.google.com/p/moviejukebox/downloads/list
and MediaInfo CLI - v0.7.27
See : http://sourceforge.net/projects/mediainfo/files/

There are some requirements :
- POHD must be running YAMJ trial firmware (see other posts)
- Java 1.6 must be installed
- POHD or external drive must be mounted as a drive in OSX (networked or by USB)

Installation :
- download the file here :
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?yjgm5nm3jmi
- move the file ACRyan_YAMJ.zip to your Applications folder and double click it to unzip

that's all....

Double click the program ACRyan_YAMJ in your Applications folder, subfolder ACRyan_YAMJ.
Choose the correct folder on your POHD to scan (/Volumes/HDD1/movie for example).
Choose the folder where to store the generated ouput (if not on POHD you have to transfer it yourself).
Choose the desired movie information language (see : http://code.google.com/p/moviejukebox/wiki/Plugins)
Choose to overwrite all Movie Information in the scan folder (Yes or No)
Logging is written into the file ACRyan_YAMJ.txt

New standalone version
if you already have installed YAMJ on your Mac.
Download : http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?gt3tyytt0e5
Double click the DMG file and copy the folder and application ACRyan_YAMJ
into the folder where YAMJ is installed.

step by step YAMJ Mac OSx installation : http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=32321
more info : http://code.google.com/p/moviejukebox/w/list

Let me know if it worked for you.

Cheers
Raymond

Thanks ! Working great.
The Terminal way was working too but I like this way more.

BTW, it appears that it's not necessary to mount the POHD beforehand, your script does it.
Otherwise, it's mounted twice, at least on my side.

I'm liking it ! :grinning:

If you would be willing to package the application up on it's own, I'd like to either host it on the same page as the GUI Config or linked to it.

@Anders

There seems to be a problem with this path: /Volumes/HDD1/movie

Skipped invalid media library: /Volumes/HDD1/movie

does it exist?

I generated the Jukebox folder. Plugged my HD into PlayON USB port. Went to MovieJukeBox/USB and found my USB drive. Move covers display fine. First problem all the Movie info is in Dutch, second when i press on red play icon i get that that mkv can not be found. Any ideas on both problems?

Another Issue. I have just tried to delete the jukebox folder in my MoviesHD folder. It says:

The operation can’t be completed because the item “Jukebox” is in use.

I restarted the Mac but that did not help???
