Post YamJ doesn't load in Minihd2
Hi all,

just a short question, I browsed the other questions first but couldn't really find an answer.

Everything goes well, he got trew the CMD commands fine, got a view errors, but he finished everything, but when he is loading the jukebox from the root of my HDD (c:\index.html) he doesn't show anything.

But when I load the index.html from my computer to view if everything has gone correctly he shows everything just fine. So it works on my computer, but from my mediaplayer he tells me there is nothing in the jukebox..

Does anyone might have some ideas why it isn't loading correcly?

Happy with any answers I might get.

Cheers

Aconsya

Assuming the player loads the jukbox file and shows a blank screen, if you use one of the menus to select a particular genre, are all genres empty or just some of them?

They are all empy.

And if I try to make a new one on a smaller map I get the error that there is no write permission.

If I copy and paste te newly created HTML file to the root of the External Harddrive, and try to load that, it restarts..

Any tips anyone?

This is an interesting problem - are you using .iso files or are your movies in .avi, or another format such as .mkv?
There is also a possibility it's hard drive related http://www.acryan.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=166&t=14383&p=100001&hilit=jukebox+blank#p100001 although this article does deal with internal hard drives

I got a WD 1.5, so I reckon that is the problem.
It's external, en on my windows 7 OS it shows that every sub folder except the main one is Read only. I tried different ways going as far as trying ATTRIB in CMD, but I made it worse rather then better.

So after a view hours getting it back to normal I was stuck with the same problem.

I think it has to do with the Read only part wich I got from my externel HD, and my portable HD also had read only on, and again I couldn't open the HTML file.

I got the Ryan Hd now, and the same problem as the Mini. But I am gonne get an internal HD now to see if I get the same problem. I'll keep you' all up to date.

Hi,

I've got the same problem as you do.
I have an A.C. Ryan HD2 with an internal 2TB hard drive.

It used to work fine, but after a while te YAMJ jukebox just shows 0/0 movies.
Tried to delete the whole jukebox folder en index file, but still the same.

When I load the index file via USB on my computer, everything works fine.

Getting kinda annoying :x

Allright, so I got myself an internal HDD. But still a no go.
My question, I reckon is very symple, is it the operation system I am running?

I am running windows 7 ultimate. And with my new HDD a Samsung It gives me the messega, make sure it is read/write!. So I can't even create it. It is also the tirth disk I am using, windows 7 dispays the underlining folders as Read only, and when I try to change it, and check again, it is again read only.

Anyone got some ideas? After having tried 3 HDD, and going from Mini to HD2 it is getting anoying.

Thx for all the help!

There hsve been some problems with file sharing and Windows 7 - try searching the forums. In the meantime, see this topic from Harro http://www.acryan.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=107&t=9654

Dear AndyA,

A lot of users have same problem with minihd2. It really shows 0/0 in Jukebox from NAS or mounted USB via samba. Believe that it is firmware problem.
Dear developers have to check it, or hire tester. The hdmini2 now is only good for playing, last firmware is slow, no UPnP shortcuts, no photo screensaver. But Jukebox is one of main functions :(((

This solution does not work windows Windows 7 Enterprise
I have done all network steps, registry tweaks, reboot. No problem in accessing local shares from other computers in network.

No problem with logon from mini2 to Intel NAS, Windows 2008 Server.

mini2 is absolutely beta product
