OK, looks like swapfile is working OK.

Can you also please post the contents of your rcS file?

OK... Both the swap and implementation of Andy's fix seem to be fine.

The problem must either be in your content or when the AC Ryan is building it's info from the YAMJ data.

Are you sure that you are building the ACR Data by pressing "OK", not cancel when the index file is opened for the first time after a build? Is it completing properly (ie Opening the Jukebox).

Sorry to belabour points but something funny is going on here. As I said, similar configs work fine.

A couple of other points to try:-

Turn the Dutch scraping off and just try the default English in YAMJ and on the player.
Check your file naming conventions.

Hi Bianca

I've looked through the log files and the screenshot - there is nothing immediately obviously wrong, but clearly the Jukebox firmware is not generating it's menu files. So, apologies for labouring a few points: -
  • You only have 93 videos showing in your library, and you've checked the swap file with Greg, so it's not swap file or memory related
  • Can you confirm you have selected 'OK' and not 'Cancel' when loading the Jukebox and watched it as it reloads - it should end up displaying the Jukebox main screen, not rebooting
  • Your output directory appears to be Z:\movie - what is drive Z:? If it is the internal drive in the POHD, or a USB drive attached to it, have you plugged it into a PC and checked the drive for errors? There are major NTFS problems in the current GUI 2.0 firmware
  • Are you using disk scanning on the POHD, to build up the database and populate the movies / newly added menus etc? If so I recommend you turn it off - it makes the NTFS problem worse.
  • And finally, of all the above does not solve the problems we may be down to file naming - can you please attach to a reply post the file Other_All.xml. The problem does not feel like a naming issue though.

Andy

Nah, you need to get this resolved otherwise you won't be able to go forward in any shape or form.

To turn Dutch off, remove this line from your properties file:-

#Set the internet plugin to the Dutch site - IMDB does not do Dutch
mjb.internet.plugin=com.moviejukebox.plugin.MovieMeterPlugin
#Set the TVDB to Dutch for tv series
thetvdb.language=nl

I'll leave Andy have a look at the rest of what you have had to say also.

I'm at work - so a quick reply - Greg is right, this should work, and there are a lot of people out there with it working.
Now we have established where the jukebox files are, proved it's not swap file space, and you've watched the jukebox refresh complete without rebooting the player, the next thing to look at is the drive.
Can you connect your drive to a PC and check the NTFS partition for errors?
Greg can give a bit more help here if needed - he's been through the pain recently.

Hi Guys,

I followed up your advise:
- Checked NTFS partition for errors and some were found and repaired.
- I turned Dutch off in the movieproperties file
- I switch language from Dutch to English on the pohd2

Soory but still no results, still only ALL.

I attached the zip file (with 3 files)

Bianca
