I have been using a USB connection to my PlayON (via the NTFS system preference addition) but I have a football game HD .TS file that the PlayOn does not seem to like for some reason--or I should say the WDHDD doesn't like. The game is actually two 3+GB files. I have tried transferring the whole folder and I have tried transferring each individual file on its own. Either way, I receive an error that the file can't be located. I'm hoping that FTP might help me circumvent this problem. I haven't been able to find instructions that explain how to FTP to the PlayON from a Mac (or even from a PC).

Answered my own question. This is easy to do but slooooooooow as can be for the FTP. Just put in the IP address for Wirless set up. I can't remember how the PlayON found that info. but I assume this is the PlayON IP. Then scroll down to FTP. Input a login name and a password. Turn on FTP. Connect your wireless dongle to the side of the PlayON. Open your FTP client on your computer and enter the IP, login, password and you're set. Again, the problem for me is that it will take 4 hours to transfer a 4GB .TS file. If I use ethernet via the description in the other thread, that's 45 minutes. If I use USB it's usually faster but for some reason the PlayON does not like this .TS file and gives me an error halfway through the transfer.
