Hi guys,

I am currently streaming movies wirelessly from my Macbook to my HD mini, no issues

My Macbook hard drive, however, is now becoming full so I was looking at getting an external USB hard drive to store my media on, possibly a 1.5TB Western Digital Essentials HD.

When I plug this drive into my Macbook, it will obviously reformat the drive for use with OSX. If I simply drag & drop my existing movie folder (including all the video wall files) from my Macbook onto the USB drive, will the USB drive work when it is plugged into the HD mini or is there something else that I will have to do?

Probably a simple question with an obvious answer, but I dont want to buy a USB drive if it wont work!
