 Freezes/stops working randomly I recieved my Playon!HD about two weeks ago.
First thing I did was to upgrade to the latest firmware so I don't know if the problem existed with the earlier firmware that was pre-installed.
However, the device freezes randomly anywhere between clicking through the menu or watching a movie. When this happends, the TV goes black for a few seconds and then the Playon!HD logo appears, but the buttons on the remote do not respond and I can't turn off the player via the power button through remote or manually - I have to pull the power cord.
This happends with and without a harddrive being plugged in, and I've also tried changing hdmi-ports on the TV but it makes no difference.
Any suggestions?

I followed your guide step by step without any problems, but it did not work, i experience the same problems.
Any other ideas?
May this be a hardware problem?

Re: Freezes/stops working randomly Check this how to. If that does not help your last chance is installing firmware 4824. If that also fails, I guess the hardware is defective and you should see your vendor or contact AC Ryan for repair or replacement.
