Issue: Veolo not using IEEE 802.11n
Hi there
Anyone else having the same issue? I am connected to Apple Airport Extreme with WPA2 encryption. As said in the title, my Veolo only connects with IEEE 802.11g. All other clients are connected to the router with 802.11n. Cant find any way to force the Veolo to connect with the faster protocol. Any hints?
Thanks J.

We cannot confirm this issue as we do not have apple routers. On the other models we test it it works fine with the connection. Have you tried consulting your router manual if there is eventually some other settings you need to tweak? Other than that iam out of ideas. Maybe some other users which use apple routers can help out here a little.

Re: Issue: Veolo not using IEEE 802.11n
Thanks Arne. I was wrong thinking VEOLO connects with 811g as the trasfer rate is average 65. But anyway 65 is very bad. I have other clients connecting to the same router with way more than this. As per now, I reactivated my WD TV Live and the Airport connectivity check confirms a average trasfer rate of 115 Mbps with the WD. I'll wait until the next firmware update for the veolo and give it one more try then.

Re: Issue: Veolo not using IEEE 802.11n
Hello,
We checked on our side when we connect to a Cisco router, the Veolo connects with 802.11n and it's able to receive/transmit at the speed it connects -> 135Mbps. We are using WPA2 (AES) for this with dual band disabled, 2.4Ghz only.
In some cases we know that if you use 5Ghz bandwidth, and/or connect to a WEP or TKIP (WPA) based security that the Veolo will not connect with Wireless N.
Try this on your router to see if it would improve.
See screenshots for reference.
