Chrizathens wrote: What you are saying is absolutely true, but.. I believe that POHD is a media player and it should play files without problem and have the ability to transfer files from/to it. Every additional feature is a bonus IMHO and it should be of secondary importance... ... again, that is your opinion. For me and many other, POHD is primarily a BT downloader without PC and a media player. I would not have bought POHD without the BT downloader. I bought it primarily to free my PC from BT downloading (save electricity / no noise / keep PC life longer). -sorry for being out of topic, but i want to correct some misconceptions -

 Re: [BETA - SDK3.X] PV73100 v7.3.X.r4368 POHD
Bugs.. I dont know ( i didnt get the time to read) if anyone report this bugs but.. - By browing on Internal HDD, POHD hangs.. You can only reboot by unplugging the power - By browing at thumbnail (Using SLOW button so browse by 001.jpg files) by movies also hangs.. Same issue, only reboot by unlpugging the power
- When i set the movie at pause and wait a while and resume it.. No sound.. And meaning No Sound is there no sound also trying to watch another movie. Solution: reboot using remote controller.
Thanks a lot and waiting for new (beta) release with fixes..

This Hanging while browsing problem , I already reported since the day FW3582 was released. Till now none of the FW after 3582 has fixed the problem.
I have been using FW Beta 4318 ever since.

Boxee Box with the Boxee Software onboard (based on XBMC) will be my next choice. Sorry ACRyan but this is a total mess. As an early adopter i am screwed with audio format passthrough. F that sh**. I am not supporting a company that doesnt care about its products.
Bye To bad your not satified I hope you will get a refund and find a device that's satify's your needs.

I'm currently on r2901 and have an internal HDD in the player. Would upgrading to r4368 reformat my internal HDD?

No but it will change your filesystem so revert back to 2901 is not possible only to a sdk 3 firmware on a sdk 2 firmware like 2901 you will see a blanco disk because that fw does not understand the new file system.

Hi Kraakie, I think your answere is not right. So reverting to 3875(from 3582/4090/4368/4824)* is also out of the question ? 3875 is a SDK2 and reverting to this one is possible. I managed to revert to an earlier version also. Only 1135 and/or 1402 gives "the empty disk problem" . (i'm not quite sure about the version, but i'm willing to test it again.) let's say reverting to 2388 and up is possible, without the system showing an empty HDD. And if it's happening, if you'll see an empty disk. just do nothing. and upgrade to a newer firmware again. Always keep in mind, if the system unfortionaly asks for a format of the disk, don't do it.!! *= 3582/4090/4368/4824 SDK3firmware

As mentioned previously, why the version rolled back to r3582 is that SDK3.X rolled back to r3XXX instead.
Previously, r43XX are based on SDK3.0 instead. It works. The one thing i have to test again is the r2388, i thought i also managed to revert to this one. 1135 and 1402 are out of the question. It was also mentioned in the release notes of 2388. No offence .. just some info that is probably nice to know.
