what version you mean?
at this moment i run 4824. but it is not steady.

also copied few gb's of movie to the player, but, he can not find it (nor play it).

also it crashes few times....
sounds to me like a buggy version...
sorry, i can not make it better, but this is what i experience...

Download 4318 -> viewtopic.php?f=44&t=6510
Download 3582 -> viewtopic.php?f=44&t=7481
Download 4824 -> viewtopic.php?f=44&t=10197

At the bottom are the two methods described flash

Reflash Pohd to 4318 using the safe method
Flash immediately after 4318 through the normal flashmethode to 3582 (may be that during the flash the device reboots 1 time and then continues to flash, this is to tupdate he bootloader if that has not happened.)
Flash him through the normal method to 4824.

Flash methods

Standard method
1: Turn off Ryan, red LED lights.
2: USB stick or an SD card [FAT 32 formatted] with the firmware .

The file name is always - image.img -

Setup> System> System update. [remote]

The firmware will now be flashed.

Safe Mode Flash
1. Pull the plug
2: On / off button pressed.
3: Voltage at the Ryan set.
4: On / Off button only release when the blue LED starts blinking or loading on the TV is visible.
5: Waiting for the Ryan finished flashing.
6: reconfigure your settings (video/network etc).
7: Turn off Ryan> wait> turn back on the Ryan.

and...
still system stops...

installed few times the firmware, no better result.

when i go to "mediatheek" >>movie >> update >> all
then i see lots of *.ifo files. why not just 1 file with the movie?
when browsing through these files, systems reboots when it is in the mood...

not a good feeling.
any idea when the final new firmware will be released? any idea?

wouldn;t it be normal there appears just a list of movies on the disk?
instead of lots of files like *.nfo, *.vob, etc etc?
