Of some directories the ryan shows the 0001.jpg, in other folders i dont get it working. I cant find the reason why this is happening. Is this a bug or has it to do with something i dont now? i have the same problem with my NAS. It's unclear why, looks like something random but i think that it has to do with the first file yes/no in the folder, file name starting with a capital or figures. I can't figure out why but this problem was already in more firmwares. I used the same thumbgen settings made the files in 1 loop and still there is difference about the first file even when it starts with a ! or 0001.jpg POHD and a NAS are not always friends unfortunately instead of naming the sheet 0001.jpg in thumbgen, name it $M\!$N$E.jpg which will result as follows: if the name of the movie is for example Avatar.mkv the sheet will be called then: !Avatar.mkv.jpg which will then be seen as the first jpg in a folder also tested this with a synology nas-server. change the option in thumbgen under options under tab: "Input/Ouput naming" change the name for "Main Moviesheet" (or for "extra Moviesheet" only then you need to activate the extra sheet under the General tab in options) hope this works for all of you , back on topic again: found a new bug the external .ssa subs are not working. tested it by network streaming will test the same on the internal drive.

I though i was going crazy. Strange thing with my POHD, is that the internal hdd everything is wrong and with my USB everything is right.. It's switch.

 Re: [INTERIM FIX | BETA] PV73100 POHD (SDK3.X) r4090
the only extra is that the extension is added in the filename right ?... for a couple of movies it goes wrong and when it goes wrong the poster is shown and not the movieinfo file. So whats the difference by adding the extension in the filename that it becomes the first file in the folder ?
If i look on the pohd the file with the ! is the first file in the folder when its not working.... i'am using a synology also with the latest firmware DSM 3.0.
** edit **
changing the file name with the extension in it doesn't solve the problem. In the preview shows the poster filen en pressing slow doesn't show the movieinfo... Other movie one folder below or above no problem

If i look on the pohd the file with the ! is the first file in the folder when its not working.... i'am using a synology also with the latest firmware DSM 3.0. didn`t you see this ! in front of the filename? just try and see if it works, but it only works if you read my post carefully, so please take the time to copy the filenaming which you need to change in thumbgen carefully otherwise it will go wrong. it helped some dutch users with an synology , so i serious hope it does the same for you. here is a link with my profile setting, in which the extra sheet has this filenaming, you put this file in the profile folder of thumbgen, and in the Home screen under "current profile" you select then "PlayOnHd dirk" be aware that all language settings are set to dutch or netherlands, you need to change them to your own country. here is the link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/jx8d4bjqs ... 20dirk.tgpnow back on topic , you can all start a new topic in the forum part for Thumbgen, answer and solution is hereby given.

Hmmm then i am out of options. although which tab did you select in browser, the "ALL" tab? i do and it works used the video tab but that only seem to work if movie preview is on. Btw i was editing my post a few times, as i was not happy with what i wrote,

Did you have another pic with the name "about.jpg" in the same folder. Any pic with the name "about.jpg" supercedes all other jpg and will be displayed first.

But that doesn't matter to solve this "bug". I have a filename with a ! (as back in the old DOS days ) and that has to be the first file in a folder, because thats OS related filenaming. In some cases 2 out of 10 it doesn't show the ![filename.jpg] in the preview window or via slow. Even i can see that, according to the pohd, it's the first file in the folder. As I browse the folder and "view" ![filename.jpg] it's working so the thumgen file is not broken or wrong. It's not a strange filename, it goes wrong for example by Legion (2010) where the filename is !Legion (2010).jpg. Putting the extension in, removing year, renaming to 0001.jpg, changing first letter non caps doesn't solve the problem. It's keeps showing Legend (2010).jpg as first file, the poster file, without the !. I can remove that file but thats not the way it should work.

Why don't you create a jpg file with the name 'about.jpg' and put it in the same folder as your '!filename.jpg' and 'Legion (2010).jpg'. See which one shows when you press the slow button. You will be surprised

You will be surprised i was suprised by seeing nothing in the preview window but indeed as i press slow i get the movieinfo as expected. Thanks but this is a cure in my opinion and not the solutions of fixing the problem.
