This FW is poorly tested.

After upgrading, the first thing I did was use the 'Slow' button to display some movie sheets (just about 10) stored on the thumb drive (note:- They all worked perfectly on previous Beta 4318).

When pressing the 'down' button to circle through the list, some parts of the picture showed some strange graphics that doesn't belong to the pic. After reaching the end of the list , the next press of the 'down' button produced a black screen and the whole system froze. No more response, can't even power down. Had to switch off the main power.

I restarted the unit and tried the same procedure again and it hung the whole system again.

I am going back to old FW definitely.

I wonder which Beta testing team did the testing

About the Jukebox as i said in previous posts if you are using Jukebox or thumbgen or Media Library or other plugins you must update it because the path for each file has been altered .

that means UPDATE YAMJ INDEX FILE

I was one of the testers and here the unit was stable no crahes nothing

Did you use metafeeds or did ya installed optware etc etc ?

Those things can be of influence when updating to a new fw.

Here are three:

- Player Web Management not compatible with Safari for the Mac.

- System > Video: No way to adjust screen size

- YAMJ still doesn't support TV episodes

*Note: The current build is on a new Realtek SDK platform, thus certain functions available in previous versions may not be available yet.

haven't test that yet , i was checking for previous bugs mostly but thanks for your kind attitude





Testing team apart from the development team is us users -moderators and we tested , nobody is perfect and if you had the descensy to think before you post you could realise that even if we tested everything always something as simple as your issue may slip ...but again do you have any other problems issues ?

have you tried to re-flash ? because i have checked and tried to re-produce your issue but on me it works well ....

ok but if POHD can't find a index file it's must show an error and not hang it self. I waited 5-10 min before i removed the power. I picked the wrong folder on my NAS......
