Kind of ironic that some people were rushing ACRyan to get this release out and now others complain that it wasn't tested sufficiently.

I guess it just proves that you can't please everyone. (I'm glad I'm retired.)

Edit: My 100th post. Must have too much time on my hands.

Sorry dude but if i take my brand new car to a upgrade shop for a new radio installation i really like to have it back with my dashboard! and a motor inside that doesnt stutter ;)

Ofcourse everybody is rushing for a new release because people want to have improvements, why do you think world of warcraft is a huge succes? because its all about getting better.
People who payed monny for this hardware wanna do the things thats on the box! i wanna have a stabile version with some options and dont care about jukeboxes i only use it for movies thru a windows 2008 share. So yes i'm waiting AGAIN for a new firmware because this one doesnt make sense. ( at least not for a official release) they can better call it a Beta release.

Thanks, but that's a huge list don't you think?

Do you know if development team is already working on it or still is?

Since this was the first release with a new SDK they probably had to write a lot of stuff from scratch. Perhaps they should have released it as a beta.

This is just silly, how can this firmware be final, i finally got it upgraded by using the safe flash and the previous final firmware, then upgraded to this version using system upgrade. great.

But now if i have spdif set to passthrough then my blueray films have sound, but when i go to internet radio there is no sound at all.

But if i set the spdif to lpcm dual ch then the internet radio has sound, but no sound on my films ?????

This is crazy, i had sound before for everything, this is going backwards

please read the release notes about the audio

Congratulations to the teams involved in releasing this firmware.

However, i don't understand why this is called an Official Firmware ?

Old bugs are back (Grey and unreadable subs, Menu not working) and other bugs still not solved.
And even taking out useful options (Screen size, , Scrollbar gone etc.)

This is clearly another beta. Back to the drawing boards guys.
I will certainly not upgrade (It feels more like a downgrade). As you can see in my signature i still use the other ''Official" release, which in fact is also a Beta.

it says in the release notes that some old options are not there now because of the new SDK ....
i would hold my horses for an update from the dev team
