These versions include the following changes:

1. Fix broken internet radio link (“partial fix”, currently unable to query all stations as Shoutcast uses a new API2.0, will fix 100% soon)
2. Fix recording internet radio streams to HDD or USB
3. Fix Youku playback in full screen (Asian firmware only)
4. Improve Hebrew menu language (European firmware only)
5. Includes Icelandic menu language (European firmware only)
6. Includes board identification for 1073DA/1073DD/1073DD C+

There will be another firmware update which will be out most likely next week with bug fixes.

Ok... so, in all other aspects this beta is completely the same as the last one?
Then I see no usable value in updating...

But, the next firmware which you say is coming next week, will that one have all other fixes and updates which were posted in the previous topic of beta 4107?
So... new GUI in all menu's and sub-menu's, better YAMJ, faster Samba connection, etc etc?

I do see value in updating it as many people have been complaining about the internet radio functionality not working.

Thank you and I look forward to further improvements in the firmware next week.

Also skipping this one, i don't use internetradio (got a squeezebox for that)

Other "improvements" are useless to me
I will wait fot the next release with all the goodies in it, like new GUI in the menu's, amd all the other bug fixes.

(i atleast expect the continuation of the revamped GUI)

so is this an update for beta 4107 (with new gui) or official 3875?

the new firmware due next week - which does this relate to?

This firmware version is r4107 + the new I-Radio fix as it was broken on r4107 after 2 weeks on its release as Shoutcast changed their API.

The next firmware release should come with the bug fix + the stuff that are added/fixed on r4318.

Some stuffs that I heard that from the dev teams, the next firmware will also have some internal structure revamp - GUI related. Some bugs fixes but I haven't got any confirmed details on the fixes.

Although I realise this is a quick fix for now there are just two on going things I would like to point out :

1. Not sure if it is possible, if it is please feel free to point out how, but how does one go about adding a channel to favourites while listening to it on the POHD?

Surely it would make sense to have a button to click to add it to favourites? If this does not exist is it possible to look at adding something to this effect?

2. I noticed the other day that while playing music (not internet radio but music on the hard drive) the screen saver does not kick in. This is obviously an issue on my plasma screen as the image remains static for a long period of time and I fear image retention. The screensaver should be a prerequisite on all screens that remain static for long periods.
