Post Re: [BETA] firmware version r3615 for POHD Standard
So, a lot (most?) of the core issues are within hands of Realtek. Can AC Ryan ask Realtek for any explanation, on what to expect or has any dialog with them at all?

Another bug in the latest firmware:
I turned it on, Update (list of movies), All and played one movie a few seconds, went back, scrolled a bit, looked at the preview, pressed enter and it started playing the néxt movie in the list.

An idea:
When I press play, it plays, when I press pause/step, it does what it does. But if I quickly want to pause my movie, music, or UNpause it, why not use the center round button for this matter??? On many interfaces, there is also ONE hotkey that works for both play/pause (or resume).
Or, could be handy: the big center button comes in handy to let people pause the movie quickly when the phone/doorbell rings, and when then continue, another press, should unpause the movie. But why not auto-rewind the movie 2 seconds? 8-) That way, no subtitles are missed and it's a more comfortable way to get settled again.

Center button: pause (+rewind 2 secs), unpause/play/resume

And a priority: SAMBA speed & stability

I haven't tested this version, but what I want to know is if the BT and Samba are seperated in this build.

In the 2901 they are mixed and I never use BT, only Samba so that's use of resources.....

No.

We couldn't tweak the codes for the separation of BT and SAMBA as the module is directly under Realtek's control. We did feedback on it. But the final decision still lies with Realtek.

Since we know that Realtek is not good why don't you change to another supplier. It's very simple, isn't it? Or else got nobody to blame!!!!

Hi there,
When is this firmware release planned to be official? or isn't it either.
Furhermore I am a bit disapointed that yourube support is stil not working.
With every release the samba support is getting slower.

Is there any possibility to have NZB support with my AC-Ryan?

Many questions, I know. But while there seem to be enough people aroun at this forum, I get the idea the developing capacity fot the AC Ryan - PLayon HD is getting less. Dependency from third parties that are even less productive doesn;t make it better either
