After installing this firmware release I have lost USB functionality. The USB option is no longer visible in the Files Manager>Devices list.

Has anyone else had a similar issue?

Hi,

I upgrated to the new firmware, and have some issues:

- BT can not run - "no internal HDD detected" - I have of course and the player plays the files from it, so it's pretty strange

- I can not copy, delete, etc, files via my network saying I have no acces to it (it worked in the previous firmware, though lost connection many times

pls help

Peter

Is there another way of rolling back the firmware? obviously flashing procedure can not work if usb ports don't function now

I haven't used this firmware yet so I cannot say anything about any problems with it.

However, have you also lost the SD card slot as well as usb?

Might be worth trying to flash using an SD card.

Just a thought.

Cheers.

Good suggestion, so I checked it out and the SD card option has also disappeared, didn't even realise as I never use it.

This seems to be pointing to the recent flash upgrade or perhaps the board has just shit itself and it's a coindence, but I'm now guessing with both USB/SD now not an option, there's no other way to flash the firmware??

Just a blind guess, perhaps USB/SD is only "lost" in the GUI. If it were me I would try the safe-mode on the assumption that the USB is actually OK. Again a guess but the bootloader might have its own driver for USB and SD.

Just a crazy idea.

Post Re: [Official] Firmware_PV73100_v7.4.x.r7317
after installing this new firmware, i encountered several issues:
1. YAMJ was not able to load my file. I tried to sync with the latest version of yamj and after a short time of processing, the system just hanged and i have to unplug the power cord to restart my hdd and mini.

2. Was browsing the movies list using file manager. After like 1 min of browsing, the system got hanged again and my tv turns into a blank screen.

Can the development team please check both issues. Thanks.

With this firmware I can't see the Bluray movie on HD. I have BDMV directory with a movie and when it is played it choppy and slow. When I only purchased the POHD I saw blurays without any problems. It is possible to fix it? Is there someone else who cant see Blurays?
