 Re: [Release Candidate] ACR-PV73100 v7.3.x.r4824 Playon!HD I've got an update question : I am now running r3582 but I made some minor changes in the BT and Samba scripts/configs and installing OoD's alternative skin. If I want a clean r4824 install, do I have to do the safe mode install or will the menu update also overwrite the changes I made ?? Probably not ... the script that is changed in ShadowAndy's HOWTO is on a read-only file-system in the new firmwares. Read the thread on the HOWTO forum for some workarounds ...

While we work on the new SDK4.0 , we still wanted to release this while people are waiting for SDK 4.0 because we still could fix some of the bugs as mentioned in the changelog. You can downgrade to r. 4318 if you want to get rid of the 2 channel/SPDIF issue. i attached the file. I'm sure you did a lot of improvements on the torrent so i sent this one to see another possible error.
no real improvements on the web browser. the remote is too big to fit on a cellphone screen.. and the buttons too small to be used on a tablet. (practically, still useless)
Please add a control to the web browser like play now or something like that so we can actually control the unit without a screen because that's the reason the https should be there. i thnik.
The onscreen browser list mode is PERFECT! good job on that guys!

So when new firmware created in SDK4 is released you can just use that on your hardware.

grtz. Hello, This sounds to be that you are playing a file with to high 'ReFrames'. This will most likely not be changed with any firmware since it most likely is to much for our hardware to handle. If you use mediainfo on the files you get these 'artifacts/pink-purple-green' colours and check Format settings/ReFrames to see how much it's encoded to. Depending on the file itself when you go above ~'8' then it would try to buffer a bit to much. Br, Okay !! .... didn't know. I allready had the idea to enable 24Hz option, didn't help that much. But i understand. Overall the pohd was running fine on this update. No lockups or other things noticed yet. Didn't try BT and stuff. I'm one of those who's missing the NTP-sync  ... I'll check the mkv's. thnx.

Early I was able to vi /tmp/hdd/root/script/btpd and change parameters. Now it's impossible  2. How can I set date and time? There is strange time stamp now.
