Br, It also hangs with a external hdd... and it did not hang with 4318 in thumbgen it only freezed when browsing to, for example my NAS When you remove your harddrives from your computer. Do you safetly remove them? Or just pull them out? If you could try what I suggested with the internal drive (without the external) to see if there is any improvement. Thanks

THNX for the update.
smoothly flashed the fw and happy with some added menu items.
The update though doesn't do the trick for some mkv's i own.
Much of green and pink/purple pieces on the screen ..
(perhaps this is a realtek (SDK) thing?)

Love the new menu, I can see the whole file name now  One thing I notice is that, the video will be played with part of the edge out side of my screen. I have to press fit every time I want to watch something because I seeing my video not in full irritates me a whole heck. Is this intentional?

2. DVD data discs does not eject
Are these fixed?

Why not put the development time in sdk 4.0 instead of this 3.0 based firmware?
I don't get it.
Also tagging it as RC makes me think we won't be seeing the new GUI (sdk 4.0) this year , maybe not even next year?
