Bought the box due to the support of PPS in on of the trial firmware. After trying out and found out that PPS does not work on the RSS. Browsing again on the page and found out that the RSS for PPS had being disabled since 18 Dec 2009. :(

Any plan really to get this to work as many people are streaming video from PPS.

PPS changed the way people could watch to PPS. Now only PC's are allowed.

Really keen to see if this can done. It will be so nice to have this included in the firmware or if there is any workaround can be implemented.

Talked to someone from China, it seems like there is some sort of regulation for PPS to lock out the RSS feeding. Have anyone tried to get this to work again?

What do you mean? Do you mean that there is chance that it will be working again soon? If that is the case, it will be a great news!

Confirm that PPS had release a new API for use in Linux, not sure in this case ACRyan will include PPS back to the player in next Asia release firmware update or not?

Can any one in ACRyan answer this?

Regards,
Yumin

Sadly I cannot read Chinese. :P

Is that Eugene's avatar or something? Seems awfully familiar. :) But other than that, I don't know if it'll be back, seeing that, as already stated, the API has been changed. Time will tell, hopefully.

Checked the website. It is about supporting PPS in ubuntu 9.1. For the playon to work, it believe that it require new RSS feed to get it to work. Am i right or anyone got any ideas? Does anyone had more updates about this?

Just would like to know any updates of this issue. Just got some information from a friend that another similar box Himedia HD300A already got PPS to work on their box.

only way to get rss feeds working can be found in the "Other Developments" forum,
you best ask there how to get pps feed in the pohd,

because for now there is no official news if and when it will come back,
in the official firmware.

;)
