How can I test the jukebox on my pc? Just tweaking before my POHD arrives.

Then the user can configure the jukeboxs params and I could call it directly within ThumbGen and generate the Jukeboxes

I don't feel like reimplementing all what tvixie2pohd does (and it does it very well).

The command line support should NOT offer configuration options. The config options can be either defined using the Tvixie2pohd app (for experienced users) OR using premade profiles (for normal users). The command line should offer only actions like "build jukebox using profile X"...

Just a thought (as I am thinking myself to add command line support for the ThumbGen app so basic actions could be called in some scripts)....

It's collaboration like this that makes the best pieces of software. Hopefully OoD and you will be able to work in parallel. You both created 2 amazing applications.

thumbgen, where do I report bugs for your software? I get a crash with some movies for some reason. Didn't know where to report it.

When themoviedb site is not readily accessible thumbgen crashes. If a movie's info does not load properly from themoviedb site thumbgen crashes. I had this happen many times.

Some days, when themoviedb site is working great thumbgen will autoload hundreds of movies without any problems - even the ones that it kept crashing on. For example, there was one movie that kept crashing thumbgen all the time, even when I changed many settings. Then one day, everything worked. I found out that themoviedb site had issues that day.

You can test this by going to the site in your browser. Start clicking links there or search for movies. If everything comes up quick then the site is working great. If it lags or stalls on some item then thumbgen will most likely crash. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for that. It was actually the case. The crashes no longer occur on those movies that used to crash the application.

Does anyone know which software in the chain TViXiE, Thumbgen or TViXiE2Playon causes the problem with movie titles with apostrophes in them?

Ideal this needs to be resolved at software level rather than me having to remove all the apostrophes.

Has OoD given any indication when the next version will be out. Dying o try out the TV function of it.

I updated bb skin (main menu skin) and test playon dvr past week.

Current TViXiE2Playon!HD TV function not complete.
It will be complete next week.
