 Won't turn on with the internal HDD attached Hi,
I have quite an old firmware release (from late 2010) so I will apply the latest one once it finishes downloading, but for now, I am wondering if anyone else has seen this problem.
The POHD boots fine without the HDD attached, sees the network etc etc, however as soon as I plug the internal HDD back in, it won't start at all - power on the the button turns red (standby) but won't turn on from there - either with the remote or pressing the button.
I am hoping the firmward update will fix the problem, but I am not so sure - it has worked with this firmware for a long time - I havent powered the unit up for about 4 months though and now nothing...
Ideas? Thoughts?
Any suggestions appreciated.

Latest firmware: Still won't turn on Update: I have applied the latest firmware ( viewtopic.php?f=44&t=18238) yet I still cannot turn on the POHD with the internal HDD installed. It starts fine with the HDD removed.

It sounds to me like that is the problem.

Re: Won't turn on with the internal HDD attached I don't have another HDD kicking around that I can put inside, but it will boot with a USB drive attached externally - and media plays fine from that external drive.
