 Ryan remote app - :) then :(
I got all excited when the Ryan Remote app appeared in iTunes store.....to find the mini 2 wasn't supported...will it be and when?

im not aware of any app from ACRyan , which one are you talking about ? is the one some user made and selling it on AppStore ?

Are there any news about the mini 2 app? Has anybody tried this app (with the mini 2) I don't want to waste 1,59€... BR!

What's the point, if your still gonna have a remote in your hand ( in this case your phone) why not just use the real remote?. Sorry but i don't get it

Sorry but i don't get it  There's a number of iphone apps simulate tv remotes over wifi. I wanted this cos 1. I've always go my iphone to hand 2. I (family) lost the remote a coupla times (turn over sofa, put hand down the back etc) 3. gonna look well cool on the Newly purched IPad

4. controlled over WiFi (you can put the player out of sight in the cupboard). 5. don't need to turn on TV to listen to music.

Ryan remote now supports Mini2 with 7317 firmware... :  ...gonna try this now !!

Would love an android app, to control de Ryan Mini2. Find it annoying that i have to use the tv-screen to play music.
Any news about aan android app?

Hi,
the App is not made by AC Ryan. It's another 3rd party app that works with our players. It will just replace the remote control. You can use the DLNA feature to push music to the mini2 with an iphone for example. Then you also don't need to have the TV on but only the receiver. This feature is not officially mentioned in our specs and should be seen as experimental. In some cases there are some troubles with pushing pictures. Personally using imediacontrol to push music from my ps3mediaserver to the mini2.
