i have connected my pohd to my amplifier via optical cable. in options, i have selected "pass through" as it had been set before.

what has happened is, after the upgrade, the sound had dumbed down. i am getting mids. the highs and lows are almost gone. and i have tried playing back the same files as before. flac, mp3 and iso of cd have been tried but the result is the same, no high or low but just mid.

anybody else having this issue and know a fix other than reverting back to the old firmware?


So far everything is working fine to us except the bug we have for multi channel AAC. If you playback the mentioned format there is no center audio.

flac and mp3
stereo sound .... mostly mid-range still coming...

Sorry but our developers confirmed that there is no change in the audio package for the latest firmware version. It's still the same as on the previous firmware we have.
