 No audio when playing vob files Dear,
I have a problem that sometimes I have no audio when playing a movie from vob files.
ISO files are going OK.
I'am watching a tv serie. When I start this serie I have no sound in the main menu. I still have no sound when starting an episode.
Sometimes I HAVE sound in the main menu but when I start an episode the sound is gone.
To solve this issue I need to reboot my AC Ryan HD2 a few times.
After a reboot of 2 or 3 times I have audio when I starting the episode again.
I have this with multiple series.
This problem is very annoying because I always need to reboot my AC Ryan a few time before I can watch an episode.
When I have watched an episode and I want to view the next episode than the sound is also gone.
Does someone have a solution for this problem or can this be fix in an new firmware release maybe?

I think it's a handshake problem in the hdmi
You could try to safe reflash the firmware or downgrade 1 version

Re: No audio when playing vob files Haha I have just got the problem that the AC Ryan gives an error message about the HD.
So I have formatted the whole drive and installed the firmware again.
Do you know when I there will be a new firmware update? Maybe I can wait until the new firmware is released.

Re: No audio when playing vob files I've noticed that the unit is really picky with HDMI cables. I have some cheap cables that work fine with X-Box and PS3s but will not work with the PlayON. I have to use the good cables with the playON for it to display a picture in my setup. (6 foot HDMI cables)

Re: No audio when playing vob files I have now updated my AcRyan HD2 with the latest firmware in Safe mode.
But I still have no sound when playing VOB files.
I only have sound in the main menu but when starting the episode the sound is gone.....
Does someone have another solution?

Re: No audio when playing vob files When I press the audio button I can choose 3 audio languages:
- english dolby
- german dolby
- italian dolby
When I select one of these languages nothing is happening. Still no audio.....
