Hi, I just installed the 4585 from an old version to have the new gui, which is great. I have seen the youtube tutorial on shortcuts, but cannot have that option when I press "menu" from the folder file. True on NAS, but same for HDD and USB...

It worked before, and was very useful to find the index.htm juke box file without hitting 36 times a key...

I have succeeded in creating a shortcut via the IP adress of my nas, my that points to NAS? and not sub-directory.

My folder is not pw protected...

To Acryan guys, again it will be VERY USEFUL to keep the index file location in memory rather to ask the user to go through all directories !

What is wrong please ?

Shortcuts have been added recently. If you need them upgrade your device to the newest firmware which is r5440 and can be found here:

Thanks. Did install the 5440 and yes shortcut option appears in menu list when hitting menu on a folder. BUT SHORTCUTS DEFINED THAT WAY DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE My_shortcut list when using the jukebox, which means, my index.htm file being on a NAS, I still have to go though the directories/subdirectories list to find index.htm on my NAS !

Yes I can define an IP addrsss in my_shortcuts, but it links to the NAS, not to a directory.

CONCLUSION : sill very painful to launch Yamj in my case, our request to save the index.htm directory in the setup to avoid that still valid. Please put top priority on it.. thanks.

movie jukebox is a different module and therefore is not so easy to implement in shortcuts. Of course we came ourselves to this idea but until now it's not in. Might come in future not sure about that though.
