Hi Erik, if you have followed the steps in these HOWTO then the internet plugin for moviemeter will override the default internet plugin located in the moviejukebox_default.properties which is the ImdB plugin.
Your Moviemeter plugin is located in the moviejukebox.properties which is in the C:\YAMJ folder. ( If you followd the steps in the HOWTO.) Just put a comment (#) for the line mjb.internet.plugin=com.moviejukebox.plugin.MovieMeterPlugin in the moviejukebox.properties and it will use the default one in the moviejukebox_default.properties.

I was having problems with a continual ">> No Person" error in the CMD screen when the CLI was running, I did the above and suddenly everything worked fine.

Thought I'd share

Great guide by the way, I muddled through it all and it was a maybe not so good so with a better understand on a second try I deleted the YAMJ folder and started all over again, second try when things made more sense to me, things installed like clockwork, Thanks Omitron!

Tried beta 3643 for a couple of weeks,
Interface is fine, but generating it for 500Gb movies, costs to much time (almost 24 hours)
Lots of movies are recognized as a different (wrong) movie.

Think there must be an easier way to generate such a nice interface.

The Firmware itself is not verry stable, I crashes once a day, during playing movies, but also, when nothing happens.

So I went back on the 2901 stable version.

okay, I now used 'YAMJ GUI Config (ACR) v0.93.exe' and pointed towards the shared folder ('movie') on my NAS, resulting in 'T:\' in the first field.
I now created the library file again via 'save' and executed 'ACR_YAMJ.cmd'. I than pointed my jukebox to the index file (not moved after creation) and refreshed it. I can than access yamj, but it still is unable to locate my movies...please enlighten me :D

I got this to working by using the following :

The NAS is the name of my Synology DS 410j, and also how my ACRyanHD mini see it when browsing the WORKGROUP.

I have a NAS with a shared folder called Films, created a subdir underneath called movies, and there got some sub folders containing the actual movies.

In YAMJ GUI config v0.93 when selecting my drive where the movies where located, instead of using a drive letter ( mapping ), I browsed and did go to network - NAS - Films - Movies

Saved the config, and created the index with ACR_YAMJ.cmd

Although it works, when I browse and select the folder Films, it already find my index.html with behind it the correct position being - NAS-Films-Movies | but I do not care about that as it is working like a sharm.

If not working send me a PM with the error message

No the setup for the player. I can no longer access my setup of my player anymore. When ever I'm at the Home menu or just hit the setup button on my player the screen goes blank. You know the area where your settings are for your PlayON!HD player.

okay i know understand,
but it is way off topic here that is why i was confused about the question.

try to reinstall the firmware by the save mode like this:
First download the zip file containing the firmware:

" FW R3643 sixth yamj Trial (European) "

Try to use a usb stick which is formated as either Fat32 or Fat.
unpack the zip file with the firmware on your computer,
and copy the unpacked "install.img" to the usb stick.
(Do not unpack directly to the usb drive)

after this you have to install r3643_(European)_YAMJ_Trial using the manual way. (even if you where already running it)
so before you switch it on,
    pull out the power connector,
put in the usb stick with the R3643 firmware on it,
put the power connector back in,
while holding the on/off button, untill the flashing procedure is started.
(which means you will see an installing text on your tv, and a progress bar, this can take a minute
in which the player also reboots, still keep the power button pressed)

if you see only the logo or a no signal message after the install is finished,
try pressing the "tv-sys" button a few times (around six to 10 times) to gain back normal picture.
when after this only the logo apears try pressing the setup button once.

Then after the upgrade is done,
install the extensions under setup-->system-->system upgrade-->upgrade extension package.

After this switch on samba, btpd in setup-->network .

i hope this works,

and next time please stay on topic here,
and reffer for other questions in the right topic.

Can you paste your ACR_YAMJ.cmd and ACR_Library.xml files here?

Although I did, i see is may not be relevant at the moment as the seventh yamj trial has a problem with DVD's - I'm going to go back to the sixth trial and see how I get on with VOB's and I may also try converting the disc into an ISO instead (keeps the file system tidy)

Tried it a few times, updated the properties file, ran the cmd-file again, was over in 1 second. Nothing indexed. Odd, I check my LAN.... and then the PlayOn!HD itself through the tv... .ALL my movies and music are gone :o :x

Through the jukebox, I can still play (not update) them. But I can't see them anymore on my LAN using SAMBA nor (least of my worries) let the CMD-file run again to update it the index.htm-file for instance.. What did it do

Is this a -seriously!- known bug ?!

Probably means that when you ran ACR_YAMJ.cmd the network drive wasn't mounted or accessible.

So other files are accessible, but the two directories with music and movies are not. This does not explain how the files dissappear, even after the device has been on for 5 minutes, Windows Explorer still does not show the AVI/MKV-files, but the jukebox can still play them.

The console window also did not report anything about a path not being found, so device accessible, moviesdirectories (one directorylevel/structure downwards) not.

If one adds a .nfo file in the directory, is it possible to manually enter the name of the movie in there? (woçuld be handy for foreign titles)
just the imdb.com link will return the titles as stated on imdb.com, most of the time, in it's original language (especially for asian movies)
