Greek hardware website The Lab has just reviewed the Playon!HD.
It made an impression during testing, receiving their “Outstanding Recommendation” award!

“The Playon!HD has all the features that a good media player must have, and additionally can be used as a NAS (Network-Attached Storage) and it has a BitTorrent client, which can be controlled through the network through a simple web interface. A pleasant surprise was that it managed to play over Wi-Fi and even a MKV sample at 20mbps without any problems. Via USB, transfer finished at 28 mbps for MKV and playback from internal HDD at 48mbps for MKV. In M2TS files, this went much better, reaching 70 and 90mbps via USB and the internal HDD, respectively.

In general, the Playon!HD left us with lots of positive impressions. Its build quality is very good, it includes a practical remote control and overall, it offers many features to the user. It managed to play up to 20mbps MKV files through Wi-Fi N streaming, an impossible task for all media players we tested, till now.
