Will we see an ATSC tuner version of this, so that the digital tuners will work in the USA?

Hello Yap

There's a spelling error in the picture.

It says "NAS drive & NFS file sytem support". There's an "s" missing in "system".

greetings

@ MathNiss, thanks for spotting the typo, it's fixed

@ kocl, for Analog AV-In, the input is Composite, (there is Component Output, but not input). The recording quality for Analog (from AV-In and from Analog TV tuner) is MPEG-2 DVD-quality. For Digital recording (from DVB-T TV Tuner), the quality is same as the source without any loss (lossless) in a .TS file. Meaning DVB-T HD broadcasts in MPEG-4 H.264 will be recorded in MPEG-4 H.264, in the same HD quality as the broadcast.

@takabanana, we are looking into ATSC, hope to bring you some news soon. We are also actively listening to the community to guage whether there is high demand from users in USA for DVR-HD with ATSC tuners. The good thing is that the tuner hardware is a daughter board that can be changed/swapped.

Keep the questions coming : )

In Czech republic and in Slovakia can be request for DVB-S (satellite) and DVB-C (cable). Does AC Ryan plan to offer also this types of tuners?

I'm not a rocket scientist when it comes to this stuff. I live in the US and have standard Cable service. Would I need the Analog+Digital or would I be all set with the dual Digital. I did a little research on ATSC and agree that feature would be nice though not a requirement for me at this point. I look forward to being able to purchase this product!

Looks interesting, but I don't see DVB-C support....or a CI+ slot?
That means that you won't be able to use it in NL with for example Ziggo.... :?

that's true! I believe that it is al perfect
divice, but i think nobody buys this in the Netherlands.
The analog tuner option is rarely used in the Netherlands
because of poor quality.
while I understand that the DVB T tuner must have a separate subscription eg KPN.
How does the conversion of channels recording than work?
when it does not have 2 digital tuners for the Dutch cable company to get card slot (as written above)

I think that the sale is not running without the adjustment.but when it will have the adjustment this PVR would be the best PVR in the Netherlands with a different brand funties those still on the market has brought.    So when the adjustment will start I recommended myself for THE test panel

If I am correct it only has DVB-T which means DVB-C and DVB-S are not supporterd... Too bad, I am using DVB-C. So if DVB-C is not supported I am not going to buy it.
