I would very much like to control the Player in Music-mode, not with the remote control, but with a web-browser.

The usecase (=story of what I would like):
I am working on my laptop. The player is playing music. I want to play a different song, or maybe even make a playlist.
Without getting up, I fire up a webbrowser, I browse to the player and using my mouse I navigate through my music collection. I line up a number of songs to play. The player then plays these songs.
I want to do this from my laptop, without turning on the TV.

I think that
- a webbrowser is more powerful when navigating through large music collections
- playlist creation and management is easier throug a webbrowser
- a webbrowser can contain more text/titles/information on one screen
- it's nice to leave the TV off when you're just playing music

My browser (IE 8) cache the calls to the buttons, but other browser may have more luck.

I am thinking of getting an iTouch or iPhone just to use as a remote for my AC Ryan POHD mini,
Pioneer 1020 receiver and my other media player Xtreamer Mk1.
They all have remote apps for them and your 1 for AC Ryan would be a great use,
especially in a darkened home theater room where none of the provided remotes are back-lit.

I would be eager to use it amk221.
I would try to test it / borrow one first to see if it is all worthwhile owning an iTouch or iPhone.

Is the web remote now ready and will it work on the PlayonHD ?
Has delgado question on browsing the list of music files without having to turn on the TV been answered, if so can you point me to that.

Gosh, please implement it as soon as possible and you'll see all the a.c.ryans leaving the retail stores just like the iphones.

Hope your firmware team can at least update the web interface to allow us to select the song to play from the playlist.
