Believe me they did pressed a lot but realtek is not listening

And the Rumour is that they left the mediaplayer buisness.

But no one can confirm it.

So we have to wait ans see what that means for the future.

If they are leaving the media player business, AC Ryan and the other vendors should force them to release the source code.
Cheers

I doubt if they will do that

See what I mean? I don't have words to describe this.
If AC Ryan has any respect for their customers they can start by answering my emails or preferably they can post here. At least they could start by admitting the issue.
Let me remind whoever is reading this post that this is not an issue only with old unsupported players.
This issue is present in all HD/HD2 units being sold today, and who knows, it may be present in all their products.
For me this is an end-of-subject and from this day on, if I don't get a reply from AC Ryan, I will never think of buying an AC Ryan product again and will alert anyone else I know that might be thinking of doing so.
Many thanks to all non-AC Ryan-staff that posted here and who tried to help clarifying this matter.
Cheers

I appreciate the frustration, and hope you also steer clear of all other manufacturers who do not implement DLNA fully or correctly. I have items from AC Ryan, Western Digital, Buffalo plus the TV on my network, and none implement DLNA fully or without bugs. Personally it's a standard I can live without

First i am not a employee
And what i tell you are not offcial words from A.C. Ryan

Let that be clear !

Second with they i ment realtek.

Realtek has certain conditions for using there sdk (firmware develope tool)
One of the conditions is that certain modules are not open source.

The problems you find here with dlna sound etc etc etc you will find on any realtek based player

I dont know why they are not answering your emails i am not a employee just a customer who helps out
