Post torrent issues?
Hey,

just wondering if there is anyone out there who is experiencing the same issue as me..

so i m able to download the torrents and playback from the same HDD (little stutter occasionally) ,

but the real problem starts when I try to rename a movie file from a different folder in the same HDD.. sometimes it would freeze, then the torrents would freeze as well, then i need to unplug the power from HD2 to restart it...

Please do note that torrent is a very resource demanding process / feature. We recommend to use this feature when the box is idle for example during the night. If you use torrents while working on the box it might become instable indeed just as you have experienced it. Also to avoid HDD problems you should avoid the unit to be rebooted. We will upgrade the transmission client in an upcoming firmware update which might help in terms of stability.

best regards,

I mean you should avoid unexpected shutdowns, power loss, reboots, crashes as good as possible. If you the unit crashes it can damage / corrupt the files you were downloading and eventually you need to start downloading again. A new firmware will be available shortly with an updated torrent client which should have better stability.

cheers,
