 What to buy next now my play on mini is discontinued Is there a good ub-biased discussion forum. I already have a wd tv live mini and thought I might try another of theirs, as they have been rock solid and reliable.

Re: What to buy next now my play on mini is discontinued The Mini2 and HD2 have been on the market for about one and a half year now. If AC Ryan gives three years of support for their products, that leaves 18 months of firmware updates. Look how far they have come in the first half of support and make your decision.
As small PCs are getting cheaper and cheaper, an HTPC with XBMC or Windows Media Center might be an option for you. No messing with Realtek or Sigma, millions of users to help you and a lot more options (add-ons etc.) in the software.

AC Ryan have now discontinued their earlier products, maybe we'll see some new products over the next couple of months. I don't have any information, but we've seen the tablet launched in Singapore, and I'm sure availability in Europe and other countries will follow. We also have the new accessories forums, so maybe ACR will follow this up with some new players as well
I'm in no rush to replace my Mini at the moment

Re: What to buy next now my play on mini is discontinued Stay with WD. Or look somewhere else. ACRyan promisses, but doesn't deliver. Firmware updates are few and far between. And than the device becomes two years old, and is declared "end of live".
